One shot, baby!

I was stunned speechless when I stumbled upon this little diamond in a load of other, not so shiny diamonds. Now, when you first read the beginning of this story, you're thinkin' "Ok.. it doesn't sound too good..." but let me tell you, if you just push on a lil bit further, it's well worth it. It's not extravagant or extremely in depth and lengthy, but it's wonderful. There is already any conversation between the two either, just the rekindling of flames. Untaming the Beast caught my eye, and began with a tragic tale between two lovers, one feeling unworthy of the other who seemed to be placing her upon a pedestal. Now, you're probably wondering.. "What the hell is that lady's problem? Being treated like a princess by your man is the most wonderful feeling in the world!" Well, in this leading lady's case, it's the exact opposite. She prefers the beast, not the Prince. And besides, even if your lover is treating you like a Princess, it doesn't match with his early risings, coming home late, and barely bestowing any real love toward her. Surely you get the jest, no? Personally, I enjoyed this story. A lot. Maybe more than a lot, and I recommend it to all you fabulous people reading this blog (I hope there is people reading!) to go hunt down this lil gem and find out for yourself if you liked it or not!

Another diamond I found, well, technically, it was thrown in my face via my inbox, was the one-shot
Where I Belong. Now, I'm sure you all remember the movie Freaky Friday, right? Imagine that, Twilight edition! Poor Alice and Bella end up in each others' body, struggling to keep the fact hidden from their significant others. Bella, in Alice's body, has to be extra careful about what she thinks, and Alice, well, Alice gets the sweet victory of being a shield for a short period of time. By the time the two switches back into their own bodies, feelings have arisen that were not originally there, and it leaves two of the group in a bit of a shamble. Now, honestly, I cannot divulge too much of the story, but let's just say.. with a perfectly timed sentence, a bell was rang and the lemon exploded, right there, all citrsy and delicious on your tongue. Go read it, I dare you.

So. For this weeks one-shot, I’ve picked Strings by TKegl

Now. We all know I’m a Jasper/Bella girl. But do read a decent amount of Edward/Bella stuff. One of my favourite Bella/Edward fics is Stoli and Suspenders by Stoli and Sexpenders by TKegl. So you can probably guess how freaking excited I was when I found out that She had written a Jasper/Bella story called Strings. And I was right to be excited. Because it’s awesome!
Bella is dragged by her friends to Lake Katchelias for Spring Break. She’s pissed with her friends for dragging her to the mountains when they had originally planned to go to Cancun. Her irritation is soon replaced with lust when she spies ‘Canoe Boy’. Hot, blonde, blue eyed, tattoed and dimpled, Bella suddenly has a reason to love the outdoors.
I'm not going to spoil the story, because that ain't how i roll, bitches. It's sweet, sexy, romantic. I loved it. You'll love it too. So go, read it. Now!
And if you loved it as much as i did, go vote for it at the Plot Bunny Contest page.
