Unexpected Peace by NCChris, Sparagus, Clurrabella.

Let me just say, wow. And I would like to say congratulations to you three for winning the contest. Yes, I'm aware I've a couple months late(six or seven) but still, I just stumbled upon this gem.

Unexpected Peace is a Pre-Twilight story set in the Southern Wars, and yes, it includes the bitch from hell, Maria. That is actually how it kind of advances from the beginning where Jasper and Peter are clearing the field from vampire body parts to the yummy slash scene. Peter observes a rather serious argument between Jasper and Maria that causes the Major to take off in search of a release, however, I don't think he was prepared for this kind!

Let me make a mention of a very important note in this fic, Peter is still a newborn. A rather decently controlled newborn at that, and you'll see how when you read the story. Before the lemon happens, Peter finishes his duties, confronts Maria to give her the report, ends up disgusted at her(hell, I was too. Nasty bitch.) and finally searches for the Major. All in all, the story is a wonderful one-shot to read, and guess what? That's why I'm recommending it! I would actually love to see it be turned into a multi-chapter fic.

NCChris, Sparagus, and Clurrabella did a wonderful job writing this story. So, go, go right now, and read about some hot love between the Major and his only friend. And that's an order!
