Tardy Recommedation.

So, I am a very horrible blog-mistress. This was suppose to be done on Monday, but issues of the real life decided to bite me in the ass. Not literally, that'd be kinda kinky, but the matter still stands that this is a tardy, very tardy, post. At least it's getting done, though!

Bloody Rose by Delandora and Bronzehairedgirl620

Summary: After a traumatizing prom night, a group of students make a pact never to tell of the accidental murder that occurred after a joke went wrong. Now, Bloody Rose is back, and she won't rest until revenge is found.

This fantastic story was submitted for our Halloween contest, as you all may know, and while it didn't win the top award, it won the best villain! Congratulations, babes!

If you haven't read the entry yet, you should. It's a wonderful twist on the old myth, Bloody Mary. However, instead of it being Bloody Mary, and actually being real, it's the exact opposite. Bloody Rose will come to get you if you speak her name thrice. Believe me, she really does.

The story starts out innocent, at a campfire with a group of High School students wanting a little enjoyment in their life. It was just an innocent rendition of a poor girl's senior prom where everything that was going decent, went horribly wrong. Very. Wrong.

"It all started back in 1982," Edward started, choosing to ignore Bella's question after a few moments of silence. "It was the day before Senior Prom, and a group of jocks decided that it would be funny to play a cruel joke on a girl named Rosalie Hale. She was pretty, but a bit of a geek – a loner. Obviously no one saw who she really was outside of the label they had given her." Edward's eyes scanned the forest nervously, as though he actually believed that at any minute, Rosalie Hale just might grace them with her unwanted presence.

It all seems to simple, not horrifying, right? Just wait. This is only the beginning. Even from this point, I was shivering in anticipation. I could only see the different possibilities of where they could go from here.

After the story was told, and the fear instilled, the group heads on to bed. However, Bella wakes to whimpering from outside the tent, and one can only guess who was foolish enough to repeat her name that final time. When she peeks out of the tent, the image in front of her can only mean one final thing.

Bloody Rose has returned.

I'll leave the rest for you to find out. Believe me, you'll definitely understand why they won the Best Villain award.

Signing off,
Matriarch Sarah.
